Description
A ball valve, also known as a (Ball valve), is a mechanical device used to regulate the flow of liquid in a piping system by rotating an angle of less than or equal to 90° to open or close. The valve disc is a ball made of metal or plastic, with a hole through its center. When the valve is fully open, the hole in the ball is parallel to the flow of liquid, and when fully closed, the hole is perpendicular to the flow. The lever is mounted on top of the valve stem, allowing the user to adjust the open or closed state of the valve by rotating the lever at an angle of 90°.
